Publish on the Microfinance Information eXchange (MIX)
At the Caribbean Microfinance Forum, on the 8th of October 2009 Mr. Renso Martinez, MIX Regional Director, Latin America & Caribbean gave a presentation about the MIX, the worldwide information system about Microfinance. He extended an invitation to all Caribbean Microfinance Institutions to publish their data on the MIX website.
Publishing data on the MIX has a number of advantages which includes:
- Comparing yourself to your peers, and setting new targets for yourself
- That your MFI support transparency
- Becoming visible, increasing opportunities for accessing financing
- International visibility on MIX Market
- Annual Rankings as Microfinance Americas 100 and MIX Global 100

On October 8th, 2009 the MIX had zero MFIs from the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean. Let’s get visible so that we can report on October 8th 2010 the MIX had ten MFIs from the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean
