WHAT IS CARIB-CAP?
The Caribbean Microfinance Capacity Building Project (CARIB CAP), is an IDB/MIF funded project that seeks to strengthen the technical and financial capabilities of microfinance institutions (MFIs) in the English speaking Caribbean. The project will target MFIs in the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and those within the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). CARIB CAP is co-financed by the European Commission through its Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Microfinance Project and by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). The project will be managed by the consortium of consulting firms, Development Options Ltd., Jamaica, and Triodos Facet BV Company, The Netherlands.
